Agathae’s core competencies are in human resource development and management. As such, our solutions focused in this particular area of our expertise. We offer a suite of human resource development and management software, called AgathaeHR, as standard product offerings but as value-add we undertake customization of this base product to meet specific customers’ requirements. Details of this software are as follows:
Broadly, AgathaeHR is organized into two main groups:
- Operational Modules (AgathaeHR-OPM): these modules deal with the more traditional HR functions of employee information, payroll processing, leave management, claims management and manpower planning. Included in this group are modules like Employee Master, Payroll, Leave, Claims, Manpower Planning and Organizational Chart. Unlike traditional HRIS, all these modules are Web-based software that offers full employee self-service (ESS) functionalities.
- Human Capital Modules (AgathaeHR-HCM): these modules deal with development and management of human capital. Included in this group are modules like Performance, Succession Planning, Career Progression, Training, Recruitment and Employee Relations.
Unlike many HRIS in the market that uses a mix of client-server and Web technology, AgathaeHR is a full Web-based system. The system is built on Microsoft .NET technology with Microsoft SQLServer as its primary database engine. Nevertheless, the system incorporates many open platform technology that allows easy integration to third-party systems or components.

AgathaeHR-OPM is a suite of productivity software that expends the traditional HRIS for managing employee, payroll, leave, claims, training and etc by incorporating employee self-service (ESS) features. Essentially, the software handles this by pushing the processes out to the end-users, i.e. employees of the organization. Thus, what were traditionally time consuming tasks handled by HR are now handled directly by the employee themselves, saving much time and reducing bottlenecks.
AgathaeHR-OPM is a full Web-based system. As such, all administrative functions can also be carried out remotely from the data centre (ESS). This feature allows multiple HR groups, operating from various offices, to administer different HR policies and procedures. Ideal for organizations with multiple companies/entities and with offices spread out over vast geographical locations.

Unlike AgathaeHR-OPM which focuses on HR operational matters, AgathaeHR-HRM focuses very much on the human side of things. In today’s parlance, this would be on human capital management (HCM).
AgathaeHR-HCM addresses human capital management (HCM) from a strategic perspective by aligning HR processes with business goals and objectives.

At the heart of AgathaeHR-HCM is a performance management system that measures employees’ performance objectively and transparently and linking the results to organizational goals and objectives. The results are then used to drive key HR processes related to succession planning, career progression, training, recruitment and employee relations. It offers a holistic development and management of human capital.
Although the modules are interconnected, they are modular in design and can be implemented on a module basis. AgathaeHR-HCM is component-based which allows it to be customized to specific requirements of a customer.
